Day 1
Arrive in Tbilisi, transfer to Goderdzi
Arrive in Tbilisi (or Kutaisi). Transfer to Goderdzi via 4wd car and snowcat shuttle. Welcome dinner and night at Ambassadori Hotel Goderdzi.
Day 2 & 3
Cat ski Goderdzi
2 full days of cat skiing. After our snowcat driver drops us off, we’ll take laps in old-growth pine forest and empty villages studded with rustic wooden huts. Whether it’s dumping snow or a bright and sunny day, we’ll enjoy the mystical charm that only remote mountain villages possess. The day is only complete after a hearty meal of Adjarian cuisine and a dip in the Ambassadori pool.
Day 4
Drive to Svaneti
Our skilled driver safely navigates the snow-covered dirt road from Goderdzi in a jacked-up 4wd – the only type of car capable of driving here! Along the way, we stop in the village Khulo to ride the nearly 2km long cable car hanging high above the densely forested valley with sweeping views of the Caucasus, and we’ll stop again along the coast for lunch and an optional swim in the Black Sea. The road up to Mestia is a long but beautiful one and we’ll arrive ready for a feast and a good night’s rest in our favorite local guesthouse, Edelweiss.
Days 5 - 8
Ski Svaneti
Known for its high peaks, medieval towers, and strong mountain culture, Svaneti offers a unique experience for the intrepid skier. On snowier days, Hatsvali ski resort offers protected tree skiing and uncrowded piste laps. On clearer days, Tetnuldi’s chutes and bowls are a freerider’s paradise. Ski tourers can explore nearby glaciers and hunt for powder above the medieval village of Ushguli. Our expert guides will choose the destination based on the conditions each day and the group’s desires.
Day 9
Drive from Mestia to Tbilisi
Another long but beautiful travel day. We’ll complete the triangular road trip through another part of the country and finish in Tbilisi (or Kutaisi) where we spend our last night in the modern and stylish Rooms Hotel, complete with a farewell feast and a night out on the town.
Day 10
Fly home
Transfer to Tbilisi or Kutaisi Airport at the time of your flight.
*Please note that this is a sample itinerary. Our knowledgeable guides will select exact slopes and times based on conditions.

“It is just the perfect company to enjoy an ski trip with. They organized us a whole week of skiing in Georgia combining catski, ski touring and resort skiing. They are a really nice team in fact we can consider them as friends now. Moreover, the ski guides are really conscious of the Mountain risks and they really minimize them to the minimum which was something that we were afraid of when we decided to go to Georgia. Finally but not least, they not only show you the mountains but also the culture and the history of Georgia which is something that is really important when you travel besides is an ski trip.
For sure I would recommend it, and next year when we go to Georgia we will contact them again for sure.
Thanks for everything see you next year!”

“We not only had a fun time with Vagabond guides but also we learn a lot of Georgia, since they know a lot of the culture and the country, and we felt safe all the time. They know the terrain, the locations, the conditions, and the best places to ski. Huge thanks to Luka, Taylor, Beshken and Guro for making this trip an unforgettable one. The second day we already knew that we will be back to Georgia and we will do it with Vagabond Adventures for sure.”

“We had an absolutely amazing time during our cat skiing trip to Goderdzi. Luka and Kaxa were the perfect guides for our trip. If you’re looking for a cool and unique skiing experience the Vagabond Adventures crew is the top choice ❤️”

“Thanks for the amazing cat skiing experience in Goderdzi! We had so much fun with our very experienced guides Luka and Kaxa. Thanks guys! 🙂 In addition to our trip, Taylor and Arina fed us with lots of information about Gudauri and backcountry tracks on fatmap. 5 Stars recommendation for Vagabond Adventures 😎”

“We spent 2 weeks in Georgia skiing in Guduari and Racha. Taylor was fantastic arranging absolutely everything for us, including travel, accommodation, guides, and food — even accommodating our requests to make amendments to our itinerary mid trip. He was very knowledgeable about the different regions we could potentially explore, even the more remote destinations such as Racha. He matched us up with two amazing guides in both locations, delivering exactly what we wanted. Would 100% recommend Taylor and Vagabond Adventures for anyone/groups looking to explore the amazing and beautiful skiing that Georgia has to offer.”
– Sid, UK
“Everything was smoothly organized from start to finish. The booking process was simple, all of our questions were answered quickly and clearly, and our entire ski trip was perfectly executed. We will be back for more! Thank you, Vagabond Adventures!”
