Fundamentals of Survival (2 days)

Build your own backcountry camp, sleep in an igloo, and learn not only to survive, but to enjoy snow camping!

Can you hear the call of the wild? Are you looking for the stark real and intense nature experience? To listen to the silence broken only by the sound of your own footsteps crunching in the snow? To see what is behind the horizon where no one ever goes? Join our Winter Wonderland overnight survival courses. Our guides use all their experience, knowledge and passion to make your first winter camping trip positively unforgettable.  We put the FUN in FUNdamentals of Survival!

This overnight adventure focuses on off-the-beaten path outdoor exploration and backcountry travel skills in winter terrain. We will accompany you to a beautiful hidden mountain area in Georgia to teach you how to create a comfortable campsite in the snow, how to build an igloo or a snow cave, and how to stay warm and safe in the winter fairytale-land of the Caucasus Mountains wilderness. In the evenings, we will be merry and warm around a bonfire enjoying our well deserved hot dinner, sharing toasts and stories before going to bed in our newly built hideout with a whole new set of tips and tricks to enjoy a pleasant sleep. Our mission is to share our discoveries and valuable knowledge to widen your horizon and your comfort zone. Get to know winter from another side – a deeper, integrated, alive one – where the abundance of snow, nature and mountains are exclusively left for you to discover. No previous experience needed, although a basic level of fitness is required. Rental equipment is available on request.
