Day 1

Arrive to Tbilisi or Kutaisi. Drive to Gudauri
Begin your Georgian ski adventure by driving 2.5 hours to Gudauri Ski Resort. Marvel at the famed Georgian Military Highway, a scenic stretch of winding road surrounded by craggy peaks. In the afternoon, check in to the hotel and rest in the spa before enjoying your first traditional Georgian dinner.

Day 2

Ski Gudauri

After some much-needed rest, we’ll make the most of this full day to explore all of the great freeride terrain Gudauri has to offer. In a single run, we can ski as much as 1,300 vertical meters from the top of Sadzele Peak to the bottom of Kobi Valley. On clear days, you will be able to see Mt. Kazbek – Georgia’s most iconic 5,000-meter volcano. Finish the day with a well-deserved après ski drink and enjoy Georgia’s world-renowned cuisine for dinner before heading in to relax at the spa.

Day 3

Ski Gudauri. Drive to Bakuriani
After a half day on Gudauri’s slopes, we’ll pause at the hotel for a warm shower before moving on to our next destination, Bakuriani. Known for its holiday scene and beautiful forest, Bakuriani offers a local, winter-wonderland feel.

Day 4

Ski Bakuriani. Drive to Goderdzi
A new day, a new resort! Spend the day lapping the hidden corners of Bakuriani’s forest and slopes. Most visitors tend to ski the pistes, so off-piste areas can retain untouched snow for many days after a snowfall. Take a break for lunch at a local snack bar or in the elegant Rooms Hotel Kokhta. Wind down with a shower before heading to Goderdzi, the final destination on the ski safari.

Day 5

Cat ski Goderdzi
Tucked in the snowiest corner of the Caucasus, Goderdzi is a hidden gem among Georgian ski resorts. After a solid night of rest at Ambassadori Hotel, we’ll hop in the snowcat to ride up the mountain to begin our adventure. Over the course of the day, we’ll ski laps in grand pine trees, bounce in the powder fields of rustic villages, and enjoy unhindered views of snow-capped peaks extending into Turkey. End the day with a much-needed rest at Ambassadori’s spectacular spa.

Day 6

Cat Ski Goderdzi
On our second day of cat skiing in Goderdzi, we’ll choose between lapping our favorite area or hunting for untracked powder in a new zone. Whether it’s dumping snow or a sunny day, we’ll enjoy the mystical charm that only remote mountain villages possess. After this last epic day out, you’ll be glad to have the comforts of the hotel spa and local Adjarian cuisine. Top off the day with a cooking workshop, where you’ll learn how to make (and eat!) khinkali, Georgia’s famous dumplings.

Day 7

Drive to Tbilisi or Kutaisi. Stop on the way in Samtskhe-Javakheti
After saying goodbye to our snowglobe home, we’ll drive back to civilization. Along the way, we’ll stop in the Samtskhe-Javakheti region for a Georgian cooking workshop and to enjoy tenili, a rare and delicious cheese that was awarded “cultural heritage status” by UNESCO. Satisfied and full from our own handmade meal, our trip will come to a bittersweet close.

Day 8

Fly home from Tbilisi or Kutaisi
After sampling a taste of all that Georgia has to offer, something tells us that this won’t be your last trip to the Caucasus Mountains. We await your return – until next time!

“Thanks for the amazing cat skiing experience in Goderdzi! We had so much fun with our very experienced guides Luka and Kaxa. Thanks guys! 🙂 In addition to our trip, Taylor and Arina fed us with lots of information about Gudauri and backcountry tracks on fatmap. 5 Stars recommendation for Vagabond Adventures 😎”

– Markus, Germany

“We spent 2 weeks in Georgia skiing in Guduari and Racha. Taylor was fantastic arranging absolutely everything for us, including travel, accommodation, guides, and food — even accommodating our requests to make amendments to our itinerary mid trip. He was very knowledgeable about the different regions we could potentially explore, even the more remote destinations such as Racha. He matched us up with two amazing guides in both locations, delivering exactly what we wanted. Would 100% recommend Taylor and Vagabond Adventures for anyone/groups looking to explore the amazing and beautiful skiing that Georgia has to offer.”

– Sid, UK

“Everything was smoothly organized from start to finish. The booking process was simple, all of our questions were answered quickly and clearly, and our entire ski trip was perfectly executed. We will be back for more! Thank you, Vagabond Adventures!”
